B&Q is the largest home improvement and garden centre retailer in the UK and Europe, employing more than 30,000 people nationwide.

As part of B&Q’s supply requirements, suppliers are required to trade via EDI for orders, invoices and remittances. This is an integral part of B&Q’s standard terms and conditions of trading. Home delivery suppliers are also required to use order confirmations, advance shipping notifications and delivery confirmations. If suppliers are not compliant on all required message types within one month of trading, compensation charges take effect.
