Morrisons EDI Initiative
Morrisons is the UK’s fourth largest food retailer, with nine million customers passing through the doors of their 455 stores each week.
Morrisons have recently made a number of changes to their electronic trading initiative and subsequently suppliers have several new EDI requirements to comply with:
- The introduction of a parallel messaging approach requires suppliers to support both EDIFACT and TRADACOMS messages.
- The implementation of new message types require suppliers to have the capability to send credit notes and receive debit notes.
If you are a supplier to Morrisons and need to communicate electronically with the retailer, Wesupply has the necessary EDI connection in place to enable you to do so. What’s more, Wesupply’s OneTime EDI solution enables you to continue using your preferred communication method, while meeting Morrisons’ (and your other customers’) EDI requirements. Wesupply’s approach to EDI reduces complexity and lowers the cost to your business of having to maintain multiple connections.
Whether you are a new supplier to Morrisons who currently has no EDI capabilities or an existing Morrisons supplier who wants to switch from your current EDI provider, we can help. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
